Görkem Ağar is a composer and pianist based in Lyon (FR) and Istanbul (TR). He studied Piano Performance at Istanbul University State Conservatory and Music Composition at Istanbul Technical University MIAM. He has performed numerous solo piano concerts worldwide, showcasing his compositions and arrangements in a narrative-concert format.

His work spans a wide range of styles, from experimental electronic music to symphonic film scores. He holds a master's degree in Composition for Screen from the Royal Conservatory of Ghent (KASK) and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon (CNSMD Lyon). His collaborations have earned many awards from festivals and organizations worldwide. While actively performing as a solo artist, he continues to compose for short films, animations, video games, and various interdisciplinary projects.
